It all begins with a love of light...

I’m Thomas Horne — a photographer-turned-marketer who still gets a buzz every time good light hits a subject just right. I picked up a Nikon D3400 at sixteen, opened Photoshop, and never really put either down. Since then I’ve led content, CRM and e-commerce for Silent Pool Gin, lifted conversion, and produced campaigns seen on screens from Surrey to Singapore.

What I do

  • Make pictures that stop the scroll. Studio stills, on-location shoots, punchy reels — all built for the way people actually watch and share.

  • Build journeys that convert. Segmented email flows, paid-social that pays off, Shopify stores that guide rather than glare.

  • Keep the purpose clear. Every frame, line and click has a job to do: awareness, action or loyalty. Anything else is decoration.

How I work

Collaborative, hands-on, detail-led. I’ll storyboard the hero shot, tweak the subject line, and stay in the data afterwards to prove it worked. I’m as comfortable chatting brand voice with founders as I am setting up a three-light rig.

A few wins I’m proud of

  • Led the full redevelopment of Silent Pool Gin’s eCommerce platform, migrating from BigCommerce to Shopify and improving user experience, brand consistency, and backend performance.

  • Planned and delivered Silent Pool Gin’s Coronation campaign, resulting in an 881% overnight uplift in salesthrough targeted CRM flows and coordinated social content.

  • Executed the 2023 Christmas CRM and social campaign, growing the customer database by 7% and significantly increasing event bookings and seasonal eCommerce sales.
